Mission News: Join us for lunch! Sunday immediately following the 2nd service we will be packaging 10,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now – We are asking for volunteers to help and we will be providing a bag lunch for everyone….we don’t want anyone to go hungry!!! We would also appreciate donations for the meals. So instead of going out for lunch join us… and donate the $$$ you would have spent to go out to a wonderful cause. Together we will be able to share a meal, package the meals quickly, fellowship with each other, feed the hungry and be the Church that God calls us to be!
Men’s Bible Study is every Thursday night at 7:30pm
Women’s Bible Study Begins March 23rd Time: 10:00 – 11:30 This is a 7 week Bible Study. There is a sign up sheet located by the church mailboxes. If you have any questions, please contact Frances Creech
Coming Up.. MYF 30 Hour Famine – March 5th - 7th
Ladies Group Meeting – March 8th at 7:00pm
Scout Chicken Dinner fund raiser benefiting the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. It is this coming Saturday, February 6 from 11:AM to 1:PM. Please come out and support the Scouts.
Zion UMC will be having a STEW FEST on Friday night starting at 6:00 P.M. All types of STEWS will be served.
A CPR class will be offered at Garris Chapel on March 20th, from 9am – 12 noon. There are 7 slots left for this class. The cost is $25.00 per person. You will be certified in infant, child, and adult CPR. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer.

Prayer Requests: Please keep the family of Billy Wells in your prayers. Billy passed away earlier this week.
From Angela Pelletier: Please be praying for my sister's friend Amanda Turner and her 5 month old son Ethan Turner. He has been sick for a couple of weeks with flu like symptoms. Doctors gave him antibiotics but he didn’t getting better. He was sent to Pitt, where he started having seizures and was put on a ventilator. They are waiting on family to get in before they will be taking little Ethan Turner off the ventilator. Doctors have told the family there is nothing else they can do. Thank you for your prayers! Please continue to pray for Deborah Cunningham and family also.
Please keep April Brown in your prayers during surgery and recovery.
